As an operating company in Japan under the Nippon Paint Group, Nippon Paint Materials handles all procurement operations for the other subsidiaries in Japan and imports and exports paints and raw materials. Amid the advancing globalization of the petrochemical industry, the company strives to optimize the procurement of the raw materials for paint and coatings by exploiting its one-stop ability to handle the procurement and trading of raw materials, including storage and delivery. Historically, Nippon Paint Materials developed and implemented internal export control policies (CP) to ensure strict compliance with foreign exchange export control laws and regulations. Going forward, the company will continue to comply with the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Control Law and other laws and regulations on exports and strive to remain a company that customers entrust with the trading of paint materials.
